ASSIGNMENT BRIEF AND COMPONENTS
PROPOSAL (15%)
Complete and submit a document in MS Word format, including: Cover and tables: MS Word cover page, tables of contents and figures, and one captioned figure.Cases list: a numbered list of the (provided) case studies being used, each cited using ZoteroCase insights: a 300-word summary of potentially relevant insights from the cases (in paragraph form)Headings: all headings and boxes that will be in the final Report (see ‘Structure of Report’ overleaf)Sources: under each topic heading, two sources of theory identified, relevance explained and citedReferences: Zotero References section showing all cited sources in the Griffith College – Harvard style.
REPORT (60%)
Complete a written report comprising an analysis of your chosen company’s approach to strategy in your own words, based on the case studies provided and other credible and cited sources. The report should be developed from the Proposal document (with the ‘case insights’ and ‘sources’ parts removed or integrated into the analysis), grounded in theory and correspond with the “Structure of Report” both in terms of headings and content. Any figures should be captioned and listed in the Table of Figures. Any generic information not linked to the instructions or content highlighted in Turnitin as ‘similar’ (aside from references or similarity with your own previously-submitted drafts or Proposal) earns zero marks, and aside from the case studies (which should be referred by the case number attributed to them in the list), all facts and theory and other sources referred to must be cited using Zotero (Griffith College – Harvard style).
