LO1 Understand the scope and importance of visitor attractions

In this section, the learners acquire knowledge about the growth and development of heritage and culture industry as well as they acquires information regarding their interests and areas of attraction. This provides an understanding of enhancing attraction on the basis of different destinations, sustainability of transport and changing staff profile. This also provides an insight on the natural aspect and constructional aspects that attract more tourists. An understanding of role of cultural heritage and conflicts among the interests of staffs and tourists are also enclosed in this section.

LO2 Understand visitor types, impacts and tourist motivation theories

This section provides an idea of the rationale of these cultural and heritage industries within the tourism sector.
