Aim of Unit 7 Social Policy
This unit of study clearly addresses social policies which are applicable during conducting a project. It is applicable at the time of conducting research and analysis. The inclusive part in this part is historical background, research aim, and conceptual framework important social and political factors. Economic and social issues are highly present in this study which is contained within health and social factors. Deficiency in the precision has to address which helps to present a clear idea. Contemporary issues have been also addresses here.

LO1 Understand the significant historical and contemporary landmarks in social welfare provision
The way of addressing social policies has been clearly addresses. For example, the possible war scenarios could be incorporated in a study. Not only that the post war factors are also addresses this. The range of social policy is a crucial factor and it can be incorporated from different dimensions. Some more important factors which has been addressed in this are e maintenance of income level in a society, employment generation and possible benefits could be generated from that, health, housing, social services and education.
LO2 Understand the origins of social policies
Ideology has been incorporated in this unit of the study thus a learner can easily detect ideological issues. Family and community values are also presented in front of the learners. The important which are played by an institution are the duties related to Parliament by following the European Union. Apart from this, the role of local government has been also addressed. Along with that the way of developing government is also addressed. Government agencies along with roles are also addressed.
LO3 Understand the impact of social policies on users of health and social care services
Measurement of the impact has been addressed in this part and learners also taught about the ways of conducting research and use statistical data. This part also covers application of broader strategies which is included with the way of implementing and policy or strategy. Any policy has both positive and negative on the society and this study helps to address that.
LO4 be able to carry out an investigation into recent developments in health and social care policy
National models and ‘the living laboratory of England, Scotland and Wales has been addresses in a part of the unit. It also addresses present initiatives along with ethical issues.
